Intention over Resolution?
This has come up in clinic a fair bit since I've been back and for me I like setting an intention over making a resolution. It feels less rigid, more allowing - once you break a resolution do you then forget about it till next year?
An intention feels gentler and leaves room for me to grow throughout the year with it in ways I might not have thought about. Feels more spacious and growth mindset-ish. What are your thoughts? Do you have a intention for the year?
For those of you who would like a resource to reflect on your year with and set some intentions consider creating a vision board or doing this amazing year end review exercise a friend of mine who is a life coach gifted me a couple years ago. It’s a fun, insightful way to reflect on the past year and receive the gifts of it and do some visioning for the next year.
